Looking like a still from an old sci-fi film – you know, the druggy/crappy visualization of the space time continuum – is instead a window screen at Muskegon High School. And, sticking with the Windows Category, Alex, here are a bunch from Michigan Steel as well.
Started out to that old bridge on the Muskegon River but found that the camera battery was low. Here are a few from the Northern Rail Yard before it died altogether.
The rail yard south of the Muskegon River has a wonderfully intense spotlight that illuminates the tracks. It isn’t on every morning, but when it is, it makes for a really interesting walk.
Here are a couple from this morning on Muskegon Lake – as well as Susie’s lovely gift for hosting the West Michigan Herb Society Potluck on Tuesday.

These are from the same part of Muskegon Lake as a week ago. This morning’s light fog and odd clouds gave the lake a completely different look. The fourth picture really shows off the framing of the high clouds.

The walk to the Farmer’s Market started out with a gorgeous clear sky to show off the full moon. Then, right at sunrise, a cloud bank rolled in that made for a pretty dramatic picture from the boat launch at Heritage Landing in downtown Muskegon.
