Fortuitous Finley Feast

Nick and I were out Sunday afternoon looking for an open restaurant (all of our favorite egg places were closed).

Finley’s on Henry Street had a load of cars in the parking lot, so we took a chance. And, it was our lucky day! The new menu has real Italian items, such as risotto, spaghetti Bolongnese, and pizza Margherita – all made with amazing care and amazingly authentic ingredients.

So, with a nice glass of wine, we partook of a real Sunday supper. The manager Shawn Wooster is very nice, and was happy we applauded the food.

The menu still contains the classic American items, but for our money, the Italian fare is the way to go. Two of the desserts are prepared in house, Tiramisu and Raspberry crostata, so save room.
